It has now been five years since I have started participating in Kiva! Overall I have made 17 loans and supported women in 8 countries more than doubling my donations by re-lending the repayments that have been made. Out of the 17 loans only one has not been repaid. This time, I loaned out to 2 women, Lumwaji from Kenya who is a farmer asking for seeds, and fertilizer to produce maize, and Sabila from Pakistan who is a merchant selling cookware like bowls, glasses, and dinner sets. These loans will hopefully help entrepreneurial women work toward economic equality worldwide.
